Understand the terms without treating them as separate websites
SEO covers improving a website’s usefulness and visibility in search. AEO is commonly used for work on answering questions clearly. GEO is commonly used for work on visibility in generative search experiences. In practice, service information, evidence and technical access can support all three.
A buyer may move between a search result, an AI answer, a review and the website before enquiring. Plan a consistent explanation of the business across those touchpoints rather than maintaining a different story for each label.
Start with the business and the visitor’s decision
Decide which services matter, whom they suit and the questions someone needs answered before making contact. Publish clear scope, accurate prices where appropriate and practical process information. Link relevant work examples to the services they demonstrate.
Useful answers are specific enough to support a decision. Explain whether a booking is confirmed, what a package includes or how an audit is delivered. Short answers can help readers, but they still need the context required to be accurate.
Keep the technical foundation understandable
Important pages should be accessible, discoverable through links and available as readable content. Review crawl permissions, canonical URLs and whether structured information matches the page. A new file or label does not replace these basics.
Google says its established SEO practices apply to its AI features and that special AI files or markup are not required. That guidance applies to Google’s systems; other platforms have their own access and presentation rules.
Create evidence that belongs to the business
Publish genuine project explanations, original examples and answers drawn from your work. Identify the author or responsible team and use meaningful review dates. When referring to outside facts, link the supporting source and distinguish evidence from an opinion.
Avoid claiming results that have not been measured or presenting demonstration data as client outcomes. A transparent account of a project can be useful even without a revenue statistic, ranking chart or testimonial.
Measure discovery and commercial outcomes separately
Search visibility, referral visits, contact clicks and qualified enquiries represent different stages. Track them with clear definitions. An AI citation or higher impression count may help explain discovery, but it does not prove the business won a client.
Review the pages associated with useful conversations and the questions prospects still ask. Use that evidence to improve the offer, content and contact journey. Do not treat a small set of manually tested prompts as a complete picture of AI visibility.
Choose a practical work plan
Begin with broken journeys and unclear priority pages, then improve relevant guides and real work examples. Maintain the information as the business changes. A smaller library of useful pages can be a better starting point than a large collection built around keyword variations.
W3WIZZ can scope website audits, content structure and ongoing improvements around agreed business goals. Search and AI platforms control their own ranking and inclusion decisions, so the work is defined by deliverables and evidence rather than guaranteed positions.

Our recommendations apply these principles to website planning. Platform inclusion and rankings remain outside an agency’s control.
