Organise by care and location
Make services, providers and locations distinct but connected. A person should be able to move from a service to the clinician who offers it, then to the correct location and appointment process.
Healthcare & wellbeing
We build clear websites for doctors, independent clinics and specialist practices. Services, provider information, visiting details and appointment routes work together so people can understand the practice before contacting the team.
01 / The audience
A clinic website serves patients, carers, referring professionals and existing visitors checking practical information. We separate these journeys instead of making every visitor work through a single promotional homepage. The practice remains responsible for approving medical information and explaining which services are available.
Make services, providers and locations distinct but connected. A person should be able to move from a service to the clinician who offers it, then to the correct location and appointment process.
Explain referral requirements, appointment types, opening times and what a first visit involves. Keep notices and service availability easy for the team to update so old information does not keep generating avoidable calls.
Identify which questions can be answered on the website and which should reach staff. Keep appointment requests short, and connect an existing scheduling platform where a confirmed booking is required.
02 / A useful page plan
This is a planning starting point. The final page list depends on your services, content and the actions your visitors need to complete.
Practice-approved explanations, relevant providers and a clear appointment route.
Biographies, areas of focus and the locations at which each clinician works.
Referrals, first visits, preparation instructions and administrative questions.
Directions, hours, visiting access and the correct phone number for each clinic.
03 / Search & discovery
We review whether search engines can find the service and location pages, whether page titles describe the actual care provided and whether internal links connect providers to services. Genuine location information is more useful than creating a separate page for every nearby neighbourhood without a distinct service or location to describe.
We can review technical accessibility, page structure, content gaps and the path from discovery to enquiry. SEO setup, ongoing search work and a standalone audit have different scopes. Search engines and AI platforms make their own inclusion and ranking decisions.
04 / Behind the website
An existing patient portal, booking tool or telehealth platform can be linked or integrated after reviewing the provider’s requirements. Detailed medical histories and clinical documents need an appropriate patient system, rather than a public contact form. Staff ownership of updates and enquiries is agreed before launch.
We agree which tool owns the information, who receives a request and what the visitor sees next. Provider subscriptions, additional infrastructure and custom development are identified in the proposal.
05 / Review your current site
06 / Working together
We discuss the audience, priority tasks, existing tools and who will approve the content.
We agree the pages, functionality, provider connections, responsibilities and billing before building.
Design and content are reviewed against the agreed visitor journeys on mobile and desktop.
We test the final destinations, agree ownership and plan updates around the way your team operates.
07 / Common questions
Usually. We first check the booking platform’s integration and linking options. Any additional provider subscription or custom integration work is identified in the proposal.
We can organise and edit practice-supplied material for readability. Clinical statements, service availability and patient instructions need approval from the responsible practice team.
